About Carole Powell
Carole lives in a small town in Southern Indiana. Her inspiration for her scenes and florals comes from the beauty around her for the most part; However, she also enjoys portraiture of people and animals. For years, she painted numerous murals in homes, restaurants, schools, businesses and churches. Her art now is watercolor on watercolor paper, or on canvas either in oil, acrylic. Her work is a wide range of landscapes, seascapes, floral and portraits. However, she is inspired to paint Christian works, depicting her strong faith. Carole says that as her artistic juices begin to flow it seems almost impossible to put down the brush. She will be at the easel for hours, - sometimes completing the painting in one setting.
